Norma Hutman has created this delightful collection of stories about Margaret Sue Miller -- challenged by braces and crutches, but helped to overcome her handicap by a magic plush bunny named Cup Cake. These positive and life-affirming tales will inspire children of all ages, and are perfect when read as bedtime stories. The original story, A Bunny Named Cup Cake, first appeared in 2001, and was followed in 2002 by Cup Cake has Kittens, a collection of three more stories. These stories, as well as three others, have their beginnings within the original tale. This edition of The Complete Cupcake Stories contains all these narratives as well as four new ones. These tales have their roots in the author's own experience, including Cup Cake, who appears on the front cover of the book, and who has been the author's companion for thirty years. Interior illustrations, from the original publications, are by Megan Foley and Rebecca M. Fullerton.
First self-published in 2001 and 2002, these stories went out-of-print after the original printing plates were lost. The book has since been digitally recreated and reprinted by Square Circle Press for the author.

Square Circle Press mourns the loss of author Norma Hutman, who died tragically in a fire in her beautiful home on February 26, 2011. Dr. Hutman influenced the lives of many people in Oneonta and beyond as an English professor at Hartwick College and as a community activist with her own radio show. An avid collector and dealer of antiques, she was instrumental in revitalizing the Greater Oneonta Historical Society and was a founder of a community readers theater group. Her spirit and energy will be missed by all. Read Norma's obituary.
